Company History

         Great Northern Commercial Real Estate was established by Brian Burnett in Kalispell, Montana.  Brian's commercial real estate career in brokerage began with the opening of the Marcus & Millichap Inc. office in Boise, Idaho.  At Marcus & Millichap Inc., Mr. Burnett was a member of both their National Retail Group and the National Manufactured Housing Group.  With Marcus & Millichap, Brian focused strictly on the representation of clients for the acquisition and dispossession of investment grade commercial real estate properties.  He was the Top Producer in the Marcus & Millichap Boise office for every year he was with the company.

          Mr. Burnett then joined The Yellowstone Group in 2019.  First as a Vice-President and later appointed to Managing Director, Mr. Burnett regained forces with Richard Bird, his original mentor and manager from Marcus & Millichap Inc, to build a powerhouse regional brokerage serving the Northwestern States.  With The Yellowstone Group, Brian led complex portfolio sales and 1031 exchange transactions across numerous states.  Refining his brokerage skills to build a thriving client base, Mr. Burnett's breadth of experience and established industry relationships led to years of top production with The Yellowstone Group in both retail properties and manufactured housing investments throughout the Country.
